This wee device is a must-have health gadget that I’ve had a long standing love affair with (well, since Christmas). Refresh your memory on my thoughts here. It tracks your steps, distance, and calories burned – and syncs all those stats to your computer or phone. With the free app you can log food intake, set targets, and challenge friends. Basically, this gadget is my key to keeping up with personal fitness goals, it’s the bees knees and I’m never (seriously never) without it.
I Quit Sugar For Life, by Sarah Wilson.
I’m more than a little obsessed with Sarah Wilson (fan girl moment). I’ve written articles about her, her books and her ideas here, here and even here. Sarah’s sugar free ethos has captivated me for the best part of a year and I got kinda (read:very) excited by the recent launch of her new book. I Quit Sugar For Life is packed with 148 sugar-free (and often paleo) recipes, that are just incredible. I couldn’t help but share it with you too.
What To Eat Notepad.
One of my biggest tips to eating whole, clean and healthy is planning. It’s the most important step to making sure you don’t slip up and fall headfirst into a pile of cronuts. This pad is exactly what the boy and I use every single week.
A selection of the paleo friendly foods that I keep on hand, making late night blogathons survivable! The Primal Kitchen muesli bars and Lovechock chocolate are both caveman friendly, insanely convenient and not pumped with complete crap (like most things that come in a package). Pacari 100% Cacao Raw Chocolate is the boys pick for a bitter, like really bitter, chocolaty hit without ANY sugar (he eats his melted and drizzles onto fresh berries for a perfect guilt-free dessert).
Foldable Spicoli Shades by Vans.
Recently I’ve been harping on about fashion classics, and these babies are one of those “building blocks of style” pieces. Tortoise shell won’t date (you can quote me on that), and the slightly oversized style in traditional wayfarer shape will never look out of place, no matter your outfit. These Vans unisex sunnies have been slotted into my regular shades rotation for years… this updated version (now all foldable and tiny) just mean they slot into my pocket, rather than my overstuffed handbag – bonus!
